We are searching for a

Senior DevOps Software Engineer (all genders)

What you will do:

  • Optimize and Scale Infrastructure: Enhance and manage the microservices architecture to support our AI-driven Revenue Management System (RMS), ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Implement Monitoring Solutions: Utilize tools like Grafana and AWS to monitor the health and performance of the system, and proactively address any issues that arise.
  • Automate Processes: Develop automation scripts and frameworks to streamline our deployment and operational procedures, reducing manual overhead and increasing efficiency.(CI/CD)
  • Ensure Security and Compliance: Apply security best practices across all aspects of our infrastructure, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of hotel and revenue data.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with development teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust infrastructure solutions that align with business goals.
  • Lead Cloud Migration Initiatives: Plan and execute the migration of our infrastructure to a well-known cloud service provider, like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google, optimizing for performance and cost.

What you should have:

  • Solid DevOps experience, ideally within a scaling start-up.
  • Strong scripting skills ability to understand/write/debug code.(at least one of these: Python | Go | Javascript | Typescript | Rust) .
  • Good knowledge of Linux, including basic management tools/utilities (curl, wget, etc) and good understanding of the Linux OS approach, structure and limitations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with public cloud services providers (Hetzner | AWS or Azure | Google).
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
  • Experience in observability and reliability, ideally with Grafana, Prometheus and Sentry.
  • Knowledge of basic principles of encryption and related tools/protocols/etc (SSL, OpenSSH, certificates, etc).
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code systems such as Terraform.
  • Good understanding of Database system requirements, capabilities and limitations such as Postgres.
  • Good theoretical understanding of cloud infrastructure development, reliability assurance and cross-regional topology setups.
